Gradings
From September 2010, gradings will be held at the end of each month, this will be available to all students provided that the student has attained proficiency, attended the required number of lessons and also the required number of grading workshops.
The Grading Day
At the grading workshop (held one week before each monthly grading), students may apply to grade provided the fulfill the grading criteria.
Registration - make sure your arrive on time and register immediately. Please bring with you your licence and your Attendance Record / Grading Syllabus book. Students taking blue belt or above will also require full sparring kit.
- Grading - You will be graded with other students of the same level, so don't feel nervous, you won't be on your own. An instructor will guide you through your grading - with lower grades all instructions are in English. An examiner will take notes and on completion of your grading you will be given your pass grade, belt and certificate.

| 1st Dan | 11 | Applicants must have trained diligently for a period of one year since taking 1st Kyu, have completed 10 workshops and passed the dan grade part one before taking this grading |
